2008-02-15. New hardware
elorating.com did get some brand new servers. You should recognize a great speed improvement now.
For the interested, we are now running on two of these machines:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ Dual Core
8 GB DDR2
2 x 750 GB SATA II (Hardware RAID1)
To make the switch, we had to go offline for about 2h. If you are missing a match please use the missing-game-loader.
2007-11-01. TAD Ladder Recalculation
We completed loading missing TAD matches. To fix odering issues, we will now re-calculate the TAD ladders. The process should be completed within a few hours.
2007-10-29. TAD Match Loading Fixed
Thumbs up for ES support on this. ES_slug fixed the caching issue concerning TAD-queries within hours after i mailed him - on a Sunday. Really nice work, thanks again!
We are still loading some of the matches played before the ladder-release. Once this process is completed, we will likely recalculate the TAD ladders, to fix some "match-ordering" issues. (As the matches were fetched "out of order", the games were not rated in a consistent chronological order. It's not a big deal accuracy wise, but the number of TAD matches is still low, so recalculating will not take too long anyway.)
As a side note: We had a few hours of downtime today, as our database-server went offline for some scheduled maintenance by our server host.
2007-10-28. TAD Update Issues
Currently, new TAD matches are not fetched. The XML feed we use to get the match result seems to be buggy for TAD queries, and doesnt update. I have contacted ES about the problem, and hope they can fix it soon.
In the meantime i will reset the missing-game-loader usage several times a day, so you can load your missed matches into the ladder.

2007-10-27. TAD Ladders Online
The new ladders for TAD just went online. You can now use the missing-game-loader to register TAD-matches played prior to the ladder release.
XML Interface
If you would like to automatically fetch ratings from elorating.com, please use the XML interface.
Please make sure you cache the results appropriately, especially if you use them on a high-traffic site. Thanks.
